What marketing automation software works with Microsoft Dynamics?
The rise of marketing automation software like Hubspot, ConstantContact and ActiveCampaign is leading many small and medium businesses to a complicated and potentially
damaging decision point.
They want to be able to manage their social marketing and drip email campaigns, but find themselves obstructed by the lack of integration from these SaaS platforms
to Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Microsoft Power Apps.
It can lead to a sub-optimal situation where the marketing activities are in effect divorced from the organisation’s embedded Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
This can mean there is an extra step required to export CSV files manually to transfer data from marketing tools to the core CRM.
Given that many of these tools don’t integrate fully with Dynamics, what are the best steps to take?
Two options
In my view, there are only really two options.
If you are a large company, then Dynamics 365 Marketing fits the bill: it is obviously built on the same platform as Dynamics 365 and integrates well.
For a smaller business (eg a mid-sized or larger small company), the answer to this dilemma is ClickDimensions, the only unified analytics and services platform in
the market for organisations that use Microsoft Dynamics.
This is not an advertorial for ClickDimensions, by the way.
It is just the plain fact that ClickDimensions does what the other independent SaaS tools do – but it also works well with your Dynamics CRM. And nothing else does that.
If you have implemented Dynamics 365/CRM for your Back Office Automation – sales, customer services, service/product delivery – then it doesn’t make sense to bolt on new
marketing software that makes it all the more difficult and brings frustration to your people.
You end up with two disparate systems with limited data sync.
ClickDimensions advertises itself as being 100% native to Microsoft Dynamics and that is a big advantage for the millions of companies who have built their long-term
CRM stack with Dynamics.
It will save your company a lot of money in the long-term by being fully integrated and ensure an ease of use and increased optimization that will free up your people
to do their best work.
